Widow's Manor

Widow's Manor

This is something I've been working on for awhile. It's a large manor house once owned by a happy family. The husband died mysteriously and soon after his wife disappeared. No one knows what happened. The manor has been abandoned for a few decades and has fallen into disrepair. Will you move in and fix it up or live in the remnants of this once luxurious manor house?

Widow's Manor is loosely based on Schossberger Castle in Tura, Hungry. My version has the following rooms:

- 5 Bedrooms (All with double beds).
- 1 Nursery
- 1 Butler's Quarters
- 4 Full Bathrooms
- 2 Half Bathrooms
- 1 Kitchen
- 1 Library
- 1 Formal Dinning Room
- 1 Entrance Foyer
- 1 Conservatory
- 1 Hidden Room

The bedroom accessed by the tallest tower requires teleportation (it's blocked off by vines). The vines may be removed, but the roof is blocking access to its door. All rooms have been tested and their items should be accessible by Sims including the tower bedroom once teleported into.

I hope you enjoy Widow's Manor. Here are some pictures, so you can get a feel for the place:

Cinnamon Peaches

Hey everyone. As you know, the holiday season's here and we've been asked to share our favorite recipes. One of my absolute favorite food traditions takes place every Thanksgiving in the form of my mom's cinnamon peaches. They're so good I'm getting hungry typing about them! The best part is they are easy to make. With that, I'll let my Simself take over.

Also, if you'd like to see larger pictures and take in the festive set I made for this story, simply click on them.

The first thing you want to do is make sure you have all of the ingredients. You'll need:

- 1 Can of Peach Halves in Syrup
- Butter
- Maple Syrup
- Cinnamon

You'll also want to make sure you have a shallow baking pan and of course, an oven.

The next step is to head into your kitchen. =) You can also preheat your oven now to 350⁰F, so it'll be ready when you need it.

Next collect all of your ingredients.

Now comes the main part.

1. Place the peach halves (cut side facing up) into the shallow baking pan.
2. Pour the remaining peach syrup around the peach halves.
3. Place a pat of butter in the center of each peach halve.
4. Fill each peach halve's hole with maple syrup.
5. Sprinkle peach halves with desired amount of cinnamon.

When preparation is complete, bake uncovered for 20 minutes or until heated through.

After 20 minutes, you now have some delicious cinnamon peaches to eat (ignore the chocolate chip cookies...).

The recipe is easy to scale up as there aren't any real measurements; just add more of everything. Thanks for reading and enjoy the cinnamon peaches.
